If you had visited our site and purchased a gift basket in the last couple weeks, first off thank YOU very much for your support and secondly, you may have noticed some changes to our shopping cart process.
We were taught an expensive lesson, recently! Yep, even gift basket companies get hit with fraudulent orders from unsavoury people and I wasn’t protected.
While I have always been concerned about YOUR personal information’s safety and security when shopping with us, I hadn’t been as concerned with our own.
But things are different now…
We installed Verified by Visa ®, a global solution designed to make eCommerce transactions more secure. It helps ensure that payments are made by the rightful owner of the credit card account, which was always foolishly assumed on my part before.
Oops, bad me for being so trusting. 🙂
Verified by Visa relies on the Three-Domain Secure (3-D Secure) Protocol, which serves as the mechanism for cardholder authentication at the time of an eCommerce purchase, basically an additional level of security prior to authorization for us and creating even more security and, hopefully, more trust & confidence for you when shopping online with us.
Now we are both equally fully protected!
