Did you know that Global Forgiveness Day is this Saturday August 27? Did you also know that, apparently, it was started here in Vancouver by the Christian Embassy of Christ’s Ambassadors?
Yes, we did celebrate Global Forgiveness Day earlier in the month, that originated in California but with everything going on on the planet right now… honestly, I don’t have a problem with 2 of these special days. Of course, we shall not miss the Sunday before Lent called Forgiveness Sunday.
This weekend might be the perfect time to take a few moments to sincerely forgive or ask someone to forgive you. And, make it public helping the forgiveness and emotion will spread.
There are, naturally, many way to observe this day but I love this best.
Forgiving others through a compassionate understanding that they, like you, are not perfect
Think of asking for forgiveness with a gourmet gift basket delivered anywhere in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland this weekend and we will do what we can to help you spread the spirit of the day.
(I stand corrected… after more resource that proves my Holiday Calendar is flat out wrong; Global Forgiveness Day was actually on July 7th… so now I ask YOU to forgive me on this oversight)
