Frequently Asked Questions about Vancouver Gift Baskets

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT VANCOUVER GIFT BASKETS

We’ve been making gift baskets for over 3 decades and often answer the same questions. Here are some frequently asked questions and responses that we would like to share with you, even though I do enjoy a good chat or email.

Here are a few of our common Frequently Asked Questions about our Vancouver Gift Basket Service-

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE MY GIFT DELIVERED TOMORROW?

Absolutely, just add the Next Day Delivery Upgrade option to your cart with your gift. Watch this video!

WHAT’S THE DIFFEERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD, LARGE & DELUXE?

It all comes down your preferences. While the products listed in each basket description typically remain the same, the standard basket often contains sample sizes while the large basket includes portion sizes. Deluxe baskets incorporate higher-end and even more products of the same artisan brands. This could mean the difference between gifting wild pacific smoked salmon versus BC’s smoked sockeye salmon!

CAN I INCLUDE A HANDWRITTEN MESSAGE WITH MY GIFT BASKET?

Absolutely! When ordering by phone, we will prompt you for your message and sign off while online you’ll be given the opportunity at the checkout, don’t forget to include your signature.

CAN MY GIFT BASKET BE HAND DELIVERED? …OR SHIPPED THROUGH FED-EX OR UPS?

All our gift boxes and baskets are carefully hand delivered throughout the Lower Mainland… from Whistler, West Vancouver and White Rock all the way through Vancouver and Burnaby to Cloverdale and Chilliwack … as well as every city in-between with our local commercial couriers.

We also box up and ship our gift baskets across the country (and internationally) through reputable carriers.

CAN I HAVE A DISCOUNT ON MY LARGE ORDER?

We certainly offer discounts, but also take pride in creating hand-crafted gift baskets that are based on fair market value. Our baskets that include alcohol therefore do not offer a lot of wiggle room for discounts.

Between January – September, join our most popular discount program, GifTracker for year-round deals including FREE custom logo ribbon, FREE gift baskets and more!

WHY DOES THE GifTracker PROGRAM HAVE A DEADLINE?

The GifTracker program was created for our largest gift-giving customers who can enjoy benefits year-round but can only join between January – September. Custom-made gift baskets take care to create, and the holiday season (October – December) is our bustling-behind-the-scenes time! I am lucky if I can go home before bedtime and not dream about yards of ribbon and holiday cheer!

Also, our FREE ribbon imprinting offered through GifTracker takes up to 6 weeks to onboard and deliver. We work with designers and printers to create a personalized custom metal die with your company logo, along with other personalized gift boxes, products and shipping rates included in your program.

I UNDERSTAND VGB CAN CHANGE ITEMS IN MY ORDER, BUT WHAT IF I WANT SOMETHING SPECIFIC?

We only make product or item adjustments for out-of-stock items. If you choose a basket based on a specific product, please give us a call or send us an email to make sure we have it available for you!

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT TO “LIKING” YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE?

It’s our way of sharing exclusive Facebook links to gift baskets on sale, specials and other promos not posted on the blog or website. Simply click the LIKE button for these great benefits!

WHY DO YOU HAVE 2 EMAIL ADDRESSES?

CAROLE@BSKTS.COM & CAROLE@VANCOUVERGIFTBASKETS.COM

How very observant of you, lol!
After re-branding the company in 2015, I excitedly started giving out my new email address but soon realized that longer email addresses are harder to get right. Customers would call to inquire about orders they emailed but I never received – with a domain that long – there is alot of chance of typos.
Plus, after being in business for over 20yrs using our old (and shorter) domain and email address, I would hate to miss something from a previous client that isn’t aware of the change!
So, now I check two email addresses and don’t miss a thing!
