Local deliveries are usually within 48 hours of the received order Monday to Friday before 3pm. Our in-house drivers do most of our local gift basket deliveries, however we also use a few reputable courier services.
For all gift orders placed outside of business hours, they will be shipped the following business day giving us time to prepare, design & courier the gift basket to your recipient. Should you place your order on the weekend or late in evening after hours and it NEEDS to be received on the following business day i.e. Monday, please email or call us to arrange SAME DAY delivery at a small extra charge.

Next Day: Next business day – quickest turnover yet most costly (this option is the next business day after gift is prepared usually 24-48 hours from order receipt and will only be shipped this way with the client’s verbal or written permission).
Express: 3-4 business days – most moderately priced.
Standard: 7-10 business days – most economically priced.
Shipping to the United States **Currently since Covid we haven’t been shipping to the US due to overload on UPS, FedExp and USPS, they have become unreliable sadly**

Shipping options are designed to ensure that your product arrives at the peak of freshness without losing the integrity of the design. Shipping options internationally are determined by delivery area. Therefore, total shipping charges are estimated until the package is picked up by USPS, UPS or Fed/Ex.

Gifts with Wine & Alcohol
The BC Liquor Control Act outlines that gift delivery services such as Personalized Creations dba VancouverGiftBaskets.com are able to ship Alcohol and Spirits i.e. Beer, Wine and Liqueur included in a gift basket or box within the province of British Columbia to recipients over the age of 19. All alcohol is only purchased once the order is received at a licensed Liquor Store and therefore not stored on premises.

Please note that all perishable items i.e. fruit baskets are only delivered LOCALLY to ensure your product arrives in superb condition.
Gift Turnover and Shipping Times
Local Deliveries are usually delivered within 48 hours of the received order Monday to Friday. Our in-house drivers do most of our local deliveries, however we also use a few reputable courier services, as mentioned. Delays may occur due to weather, item availability, custom ordering or other unexpected circumstances. In some cases, items ordered together are not necessarily shipped in the same box. However if you have an gift emergency (Oh NO it’s my mom’s birthday TODAY!!), please call the office directly to discuss your specific request and immediate needs. For weekend deliveries – you need to chat personally with a customer service representative to arrange a weekend delivery at a nominal additional cost, please call the office directly with your order number at 604.274.2758 Otherwise, the gift basket will simply go the following Monday or Tuesday.

Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated per ship-to-address and are based on the total size & weight of your gift basket. All gifts in your order will incur shipping charges and you will be notified of that on checkout for our local area or by email following the receipt of your placed order once calculated for out of town addresses.
Sales Tax
As of April 2013, GST (5%) and PST (7%) were reinstated in BC. GST is charged on ALL gift baskets and parcels with PST + GST charged on all non-edible gift baskets i.e. bath/spa and pampering gifts, new baby gifts, and other. All gift baskets and parcels including liquor/alcohol is charged GST + LST (Liquor Sales Tax which is 10%)
